WALK NOTES
Mainly sunny throughout the walk. There were drifts of snow still remaining on parts of the walk. Only met a few walkers during the morning. This was a very easy walk to follow with good paths throughout. The walk started from the Goyt Valley and went through the grounds of Errwood Hall. There were good views of Fernilee Reservoir and Errwood Reservoir. There were excellent views towards Cheshire from Pym Chair. Walked over Cats Tor before arriving at Shining Tor. Good views of Shutlingsloe (506 metres) from here.
