WALK NOTES

Calton Lees CP - Chatsworth Stride Walk - Calton Lees CP

This was a sponsored walk in aid of Cancer Reasearch. My fellow walkers and I decided that we would like to walk further than the length of the Chatsworth Stride set at 10km. We parked our cars at Calton Lees and then walked to the start of the Chatsworth Stride near the House. It turned out to be a lovely sunny day. This was an easy walk but the main aim was to raise money for a worthy cause. Everyone was provided with a free 75cl bottle of Buxton water about half way around the walk. Part of the walk through Stand Wood had to be lapped twice. It was a great day. After completing the walk and then returning to Calton Lees we decided to have refreshments at the Devonshire Arms in Beeley.
