WALK NOTES

Manifold Trail Car Park Waterhouses - Weaver Hills - The Walk - Wardlow - Cauldon Lowe - Cauldon - Manifold Trail Car Park Waterhouses

A lovely sunny day. The weather forecasters said it may be showery and heavy at times but there was no rain. It was windy though and exceptionally windy on The Walk - I could hardly stand up to take any photographs. At the start of the walk I got a bit lost but soon found my wat again. The views from The Walk were amazing but could have been even better if I was not looking directly into the sun (which made it hazy). The cement works at Waterhouses could be seen for miles!! There was a lovely little church at Cauldon.
